Bag O' Bits Stashbuster.

Quite pleased with the result of this. I had bought this bag of 'bits' from a charity shop it contained mostly embroidery threads all tangled up. I tidied them up while watching TV. I had some remnants of cotton yarn that went with the general colour scheme. This was a true lets start and see what emerges project. I think I hoped to use ALL the thread up but I got distracted long before that. This De-Stashing is sooo hard to do, I STILL have a bag o' bits. Not so big I grant you. I am going to be firm and give the bag away to some other hoarder. Ha! ha.

Gaia

I've just had my broadband service upgraded and re-discovered the delights of making (and posting) images on 'tinternet. I lost interest for a while as it took so long to up and download. Only on-line communities were remotely interested in my digital doodles. this image was made by heavily photo-manipulating a photo my daughter Rebecca Parker took of the model Ivory Flame AKA Holly Leedham.

L is for Love.

L is for Love. Lovely buttons, love hearts, lovers getting married.

I had been cram jar dyeing pinky colours so I stitched a piece of it to a tag shape. Then just rummaged in my stash for stuff that fit the theme. The lovers are printed on acetate but the camera didn't pick that up. the buttons are just placed for the photo shoot but if anyone offered me squillions for the tag I sure as eggs is easter eggs would stitch them on!!
I'm going to try and get out and about later. Stay safe wherever you are.
Kind regards
Pat x
